I built Hedronite to prove what one engineer can do when AI works at the bench beside them. The proof runs in four lanes.

I finished a DevOps bootcamp and noticed what was missing. Linux, cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform: wide coverage, none of it deep, no real project at the end. So I built one. I picked the intersection of crypto, quant trading, and AI (the three things I cared about most) and set out to write an agent trading bot.

The bot needed more than the bot. It needed infrastructure to run on. It needed other agents to share work with. It needed a data stack to think against, a communication layer for the agents to talk to each other, persistent identity that survived restarts, and a hybrid-cloud setup with infrastructure-as-code. I had to learn Rust, Go, and Python in depth, and I had to ship the whole environment as a working system before any of it was useful.

That one self-directed project became the engineering and quantitative research work Hedronite Foundry now sits on. The advanced curricula I wrote for myself, and for my wife who studies cybersecurity, with my agents helping at every step, became Hedronite Academy. When I needed a website to put any of this in front of the world, I learned frontend, which meant the full DevOps stack was now something I could offer outward: Hedronite Solutions.

I had given myself the DevOps role I was looking for, by founding the company that needed it.

The road I took here was winding and detoured. An athlete and musician as a child. Then a tech enthusiast as a teen. Then an undergrad at Bowling Green State. Then an Insurance Sales Executive, a boxing coach, a crypto investor, a stint as a CNC Machinist. Then a DevOps bootcamp that changed the course of my career. Then a master's in AI at the University of Colorado, which I am finishing now.

The mission of Hedronite is composed of four connected surfaces. Solutions is the engineering services arm: the DevOps work I do for businesses, end to end. Academy is the advanced specialized training I write for working engineers who want to deepen into AI/ML, Blockchain, Quant, or DevOps itself. Foundry is the research lab where we distill open source models from our own corpora, then forge the runtimes they live in. Guild is the community around that work: the Virtual Machinists' Guild, where practitioners learn together, build together, and advance human–AI orchestration as a craft.

The way I operate is reflected by the mosaic of my life experiences. I treat all that I've learned as the same craft, with various practical applications. The era we are stepping into is the one where AI multiplies what a single human can build. I would rather show what that looks like than describe it.

I've been training in martial arts my whole life. Escrima is my traditional art that folds my boxing and grappling background into one complete practice. I love jazz and blues, and I play electric guitar. I run Linux on my own metal in my home office when I'm not shadowboxing to Jimi Hendrix or jamming over Miles Davis tracks. The work I did when no one was watching is what eventually became Hedronite.
